Low Calorie Murmura Bhel

These kind of snacks are called ‘chatar-patar’ in our family because we love to munch them. The best thing about this Murmura Bhel is that it is a low-calorie, no-guilt snack & yet, it will fulfill those tea-time hunger pangs with ease! 🙂 The recipe is easy & a lot of fun!

Ingredients:

  1. 3 bowls Puffed Rice (Murmura)
  2. 1 big Onion finely chopped
  3. 2 tbsp Peanuts
  4. 2 tbsp Bengal Gram/Dark Brown Peas (Channe)
  5. 2 Green Chillies chopped
  6. 2-3 sprigs Fresh Coriander finely chopped
  7. 1 pinch Cumin seeds (Jeera)
  8. 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds (Saunf)
  9. 2 tsp Oil
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Sugar as per taste
  12. Red Chilly powder as per taste

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a big bowl. Adjust as per taste & enjoy!
